Hi Ishaan.

Currently, the only option for messaging natively in the Power BI Service is to get a notification when a refresh fails.

However, you can use Power Automate to both schedule your Refreshes as well as alert you on Teams / Email when they run: Refresh your Power BI dataset using Microsoft Flow | Microsoft Power BI Blog | Microsoft Power BI

Hi @Ishaan

@Jonvoge Thank you very much for your prompt reply. Please allow me to share some content.

You could place a Send an email notification or any other kind of message action directly after the refresh a dataset action. In the settings of that action you could configure the run after setting.

Only select the has failed option. With this setup this action only will be executed if the Refresh a dataset has failed.
