I build report via direct query mode with backend azure dataware house. I tried on local with powerbi desktop it can work well. While I publish to powerbi service, I often run into timeout issues.
I want to know the default timeout value and how to set the timeout value?
And the same question for import mode.
Thanks
Hi @V-lianl-msft , I set this to 600, seems it didn't work. I guess this is the timeout for loading data.
The timeout for the share report is controlled by powerbi service.
Thanks
Such type of setting not available in Power BI Service. Please refer the below link.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/refresh-data
Note
Data refreshes must complete in less than 2 hours on shared capacity. If your datasets require longer refresh operations, consider moving the dataset onto a Premium capacity. On Premium, the maximum refresh duration is 5 hours.
