aws s3 data source refresh

HI,

one of the reports, the data source is aws s3 bucket and it connected with the python script. While it has been published, not able to make auto refreshed. Showing error: Unable to determine the data source due to unknown functions. When custom connectors are used, the error can happen if gateway doesn't have the extension enabled. Details: Query contains unknown function name: Python.Execute.

Hi  @Anonymous ,

The AWS S3 data source can also be refreshed on power bi services. These steps are required:

1. Download and configure the gateway,
2. When creating and configuring a data source, you can also specify connection credentials in this location.
3. You can enable scheduled refresh, which will automatically refresh your data at the specified time

Note: If you use a python script, you need to use On-premises data gateway (Personal mode), because On-premises data gateway does not support Python
