...after our admin purchases power bi and assuming he disables the self service sign up for the org, does he then add me as a user (usually by my email address) , pick a temp pswd that he shares with me and we are done?   or is there more to it?   i suppose he has to know that AAD (which i think he purchases too) is tied at the hip to pbi users and a gateway(s) could be involved and for global companies there could be regional implications.  but other than that is it much more complicated, at least to get started?

he can enable only specific groups or entire organization or disable for specific groups

@db042190 Assuming that this is all tied to your Azure AD. All he should have to do is assign you a Power BI Pro, free or other license (assuming that you want to share content) and then add you as an owner to a workspace or if you have a free license you can just logon to your My Workspace. powerbi-docs/service-admin-disable-self-service.md at live · MicrosoftDocs/powerbi-docs · GitHub

thx, can he give me permissions that allow me to create workpaces and roles for the entire company like marketing, finance etc?  What is such a role's level called ?
