Xero Connection cannot be changed

Hi,

 

I have problem trying to connect PowerBI to my Xero account. 

 

Previously, I have connected my PowerBI to my demo Xero account. However, now that I have the real account, I log into it in PowerBI and selected "Allow access", however, the dashboard that is created is based on the data from my demo Xero account that I have previously connected. I tried deleting the Xero workspace and reconnect again, but it is still giving me the data from the demo account.

 

Any idea how to completely remove the connection to the demo Xero account? Thank you.

Hi @v-qiuyu-msft ,

 

I just checked and now that all of the reports are reflecting the information from my true Xero account. I do not know what happen in the middle but at least I can do my report now.

Thanks for the reply.

 

I have tried that but it is still the same, the dashboard is still showing information from the previous account even though it has prompted me to log in to my current Xero account and it is showing the correct company name there. Is there any other solution that I can try, that I can update the database?

Hi @Anonymous, 

 

I would suggest you clear browser cache then test again to see if there is any window pops-out for you to enter credential for Xero.
