Why is this issue taking so long to address? not be able to update their Apps or Content packs

"We are experiencing a temporary issue where some users may not be able to update their Apps or Content packs. Engineers are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. Next Update by 08/31/2017 17:00 PST "

The last update was today and it has been going on for a few weeks now.

Can we get some details on what the issue is or why it is happening?

This is really causing our organization issues that we can't use or update the apps!!!

@OneWithQuestion

Our engineers are still working on this fix. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Regards,

May we please get some more feedback? The issue is it just says next update on X date... then they push the date back but no new info is given. Really just helping the end user feel like they are being kept up to date would help a lot. Especially when we are experiencing enterprise wide disruptions no end user let alone management is happy to hear "no idea what the real issue is but they are working on it...". The next thing they say is, "they said they were working on it last week! Well never had this issue with (insert on premises tech: cognos, MicroStrategy, business objects, Qlik, etc..)". Not a great position for a new to market to product to be in...
