Hi,
I have been trying to figure this out since yesterday but it seems that my embed option is missing.
Not sure if I am doing something wrong here.
I integrate our Sharepoint list with Power BI Online
So heres the report url (edited the link not to show the whole url 😉 )
https://app.powerbi.com/sharepointlist/groups/d54ca0d1-0c89-409a-a9bf-5218acc53405/reports/xxxx
When the report opened, I click file but embed is missing
I tried copying the url from my browser and pasting it on a sharepoint page power bi webapp it's not working as well 😞 The page name and display doesnt load and the report doesnt load on the page as well.
Am I doing something wrong here? I have done extensive research by enabling this on the site settings
I also enabled this on Power BI tenant settings
This is enabled also
And this
But no luck.
Is it because of me having a trial license?

Hi @Jm_M
The report is integrated from a Sharepoint List and after it has been created by Power BI it automatically was embeded in Sharepoint. You can't embed a report that is already embeded and that's why you don't see the Embed option. Logic isn't it 🙂

Oh got it so basically what I am doing is embed on another embed which is not possible 😄 Got it! Sorry for my ignorance on this I am new to Power BI.
So you're saying I need to connect data from my sharepoint list to Power BI Online and create the report manually instead of using the integrate tool from sharepoint list.
And yes this clarifies as well (see below it's working now ) Thanks @aj1973
No problem we all are here to learn;
And yes you need to use your power bi desktop and use Sharepoint Online List connector to connect to your list then build your own report. Once in the service you can then use the Embed feature 🙂
