Where is a workspace stored?

Hi,

I've been trying to find out where physically a shared workspace is stored. i.e is it stored on my companies OneDrive or somewhere else (SharePoint maybe?). I haven't been able to find anything in the documentation so I'm hoping someone would be able to help!!!

Content of shared Workspace is stored in MS Azure cloud that is managed by Microsoft, You can only select your data storage region but no one can tell you where actually it is located pysically inside your selected data center region

Thanks so much for the reply, do you know how secure the data is, i.e. can the data can be access by anyone outside of the company?

All data persisted by Power BI is encrypted by default using Microsoft-managed keys. Customer data stored in Azure SQL Databases is fully encrypted using Azure SQL's Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) technology. Customer data stored in Azure Blob storage is encrypted using Azure Storage Encryption. and can not be accessed by anyone until shared with them
