When adding or deleting fields in Snowflake, the semantic model on PowerBI Service is not updated.

Custom Snowflake ODBC connector.
Reports on PowerBI Service update when data is updated in Snowflake.
However, when adding or deleting fields in Snowflake, the semantic model on PowerBI Service is not updated, and on the Edit page of the report, the newly added columns are not displayed in "Data" on the right.

Is there any way to make the semantic model on PowerBI Service change when fields are added or deleted in Snowflake?

Hi @e8-TianXiang

The only way is to update the semantic model in Power BI desktop and republish it.

Thank you for your answer.
But I don't want to publish it through PowerBI Desktop every time I update the source data structure.
Is it possible to achieve this with the help of some other methods or tools?

Is it possible to use an XMLA endpoint to update the data schema of a DirectQuery connection?
