Hello,
I want to know How can I detect if a Report lying in the Workspace is Cloned into another workspace? Please help.
Hi, @cnxanalytics
If your copied report is in the same workspace and the original report has dependency with a dashboard, you may find the original report by the dependency. I'd like to suggest you name the copied report with a text which is easy to recognize.
If your copied report is in a different workspace, Power BI automatically creates a copy of the report, and an entry in the list of datasets if the report is based on a dataset outside of the workspace. The icon for this dataset is different from the icon for datasets in the workspace:
That way, members of the workspace can tell which reports and dashboards use datasets that are outside the workspace.
For further information, I'd like to suggest you refer Copy reports from other workspaces .
Best Regards
Allan
