Using Query String Parameter with SharePoint Lists as data source

Trying to develop a report using Power BI.

My data source is SharePoint (online) lists. The report works fine, i am able to embed on a web part page as well, no issues. Im having trouble using query string parameters in this situation. Ive tried this but no luck. Is it possible to use filters whith SharePoint Online Lists being the data source ..? Also is it possible to use filters when embedded in a sharePoint web part page?

If so, how do i do that?

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi @jatin24,

Based on my test and research, we can not use the query string parameters in a SharePoint web part page. Please review the ideas below and vote them, you can also create a new idea there.

Pass filters in URL

Thanks for the response Angelia!

Can we use the filter in the published report though? The data source being SharePoint Online list..?

Hi @jatin24,

Do you mean the Publish to web report? If it is, it still unsupported, please review this idea. Furthermore, it still not used in embedded URL, please see this feature request and vote it.

Best Regards,
Angelia
