Usage Metrics PowerBi Embedded

Hi all,

We have set up a PowerBi Embedded Server on which customers can log in using their own credentials to see their dashboards.

When we used powerbi.com and microsoft account we were able to select Usage Metrics and get information about all our dashboards. Since the switch to Embedded these Reports are just empty. We use a Premium content workspace to share the dashboards.

Is there any we can get usage metrics for our dashboard? I only seem to be able to find (Azure) Capacity Usage metrics.

Hi @Steffan ,

You need a Power BI Pro license to run and access the usage metrics data. To access usage metrics for a particular dashboard or report, you must have edit access to that dashboard or report.

Thank you for your answer. Your link seems to show that usage metrics are unavailable for us. The note under the first image says it doesn't work for 'user owns credentials' method, which we use.

I find it hard to believe that we cannot see any statistics using this method, isn't there any other way?
