Unable to view my own report online - LOSING MY MIND

I'm getting this error message

 

Data source unreachable

There is no gateway to access the data source XXXXXVerify the gateway connection configuration on the and make sure all required data sources are added to the selected data gateway.There is no gateway to access the data source {0}. Verify the gateway connection configuration on the {1} and make sure all required data sources are added to the selected data gateway.Close

Hi @7ballp25 ,

 

For this type of error, my guess is that you are using a data source connected in direct query mode.


If your data source is located locally, the data source should be added to the local gateway so that you can see the data on the report when using direct query. Also if you want to refresh the dataset, you need to add the data source to the gateway regardless of the direct query or import mode of the local data source.

would you mind providing some details?  What type of data source is it?  Does that data source require the use of a gateway for service refresh?
