Unable to refresh report in workspace but perfectly working fine in Desktop

Hello All,

I am using "SAP Hana Database" as my connection to the dataset. However when i am refreshing report using desktop it is working fine but when i am trying to refresh it in workspace both manually or schedule refresh using gateways then i am getting below error message. I already have personal gateway installed in my system.

Can anyone please help me in resolving this issue at the earliest.

Hi @Shahashesh ,

Here are some suggestions that you can try:

1.Make sure you have the latest version of the SAP HANA ODBC driver installed on your machine and on the gateway machine. The driver should match the bit version of your Power BI Desktop and the gateway. 

2.Check your credentials and connection settings in the Power BI service. Go to Settings > Datasets > Your dataset > Data source credentials. Make sure you have entered the correct server name, port, user name, and password. 

3. Verify that your gateway is online and configured correctly. Go to Settings > Manage gateways > Your gateway > Data sources. Make sure your SAP HANA data source is listed and has a green check mark next to it. If not, click on Add data source and enter the same information as in Power BI Desktop.

4.Disable the "load" option for any tables or queries that you are not using in your report. This can reduce the amount of data that needs to be refreshed and avoid any errors related to unsupported data types or formats.

Thank you for these inputs.

All the listed points are checked and they are as per you mentioned it.

Also, SAP HANA data source listed has a green check mark next to it but still it is not refreshing it in Power Bi service.

Also followed the links which you have given but no luck.

Is there any way to resolve this?
