When I try to pin any visualization as a tile to any dashboard, I received the following message:
Sorry, can't pin this visualization yet. Please try again later.
We're working on this feature. Please send us any other feedback about Power BI.
The thing is, I'm trying to pin visuals that aren't custom visualizations (like a simple line chart). I've tried visualizations that are even currently on the existing dashboards and I am unable to pin them. I have cleared internet cache/cookies/etc., tried different browsers, tried incognito browsing, and tried making a new dashboard to pin to. I don't know why I am unable to pin any new tiles.
It started happening all of a sudden last week and I have not been able to find a workaround. Any ideas?
Mine is saying it is pinned, but it isn't. I'm not sure if this is the same issue or not, but it's a new issue for me. Frustrating.

Hi,
I encountered the same error today. Live-pinning the whole report worked, but I wasn't able to pin any of the visualizations. What solved it for me was:
1. Copy the report
2. Pin the visualizations from the copied report to my dashboard
Curiously enough, this worked. No idea why, though. Perhaps somebody can shed some light on that issue.

As an FYI, the workaround of creating a new copy of the report and pinning for that worked for me initially, but then all of a sudden stopped working about an hour or so later. Unfortunately I can't pin singular tiles again.
After a long while, I could suddenly pin tiles. I didn't change anything or do any new tactic, so I am unable to help resolve that.
Looks like we have a transient issue in the Power BI Service. I have asked the operations team to investigate

Have there been any updates on this issue? We are hoping ot roll out some training for our folks asap and have to hold off because of this pinning issue.

There is no known issue in the support.powerbi.com. So please try these steps below.
1. Delete the existing dashboards if possible. Then create a new one.
2. Try "Pin live page" to see if this can work.
3. Check your storage if it's full.
4. Ask the organization admin to check the status of your account.
5. Finally, I would suggest submitting a support ticket: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/pro/.
