Unable to Change Format without getting Error

Hello Community,

I'm trying to submit this question to the Desktop forum, however, I'm unable to submit a photo in that forum, so I'm submitting my question.

Anyhow, whenever I attempt to change the format in the column 'Cost', see image, to 'Whole number' I keep on getting 'Error', as shown in the following image.

Can someone please explain where I'm going wrong

Hi carltonp,

Yes, as mentioned above, this should be caused by "pound"(you could click error to get detailed error information), you could try to use Extract or  add a column like below

Hi there

The reason is that your COST has got a text value in it which is the "POUND" value.

If you remove the "POUND" value you will then be able to convert it to a whole number.
