Helper IIII have installed Power BI desktop but it does not allow a live connection to excel files.
is there anyway I can create a live connection which updates my published reports?

Community Championahsanlhcgov Excel source will not support live connection. Sources like SQL will support DirectQuery. Could you elaborate on your requirement and current implementation?
