Time Format in Power BI Web service
ahsanlhcgov If possible please install Power BI desktop and do the changes.
I think we can't change the type of a column from the Power BI service.

I have installed Power BI desktop but it does not allow a live connection to excel files.
is there anyway I can create a live connection which updates my published reports?

ahsanlhcgov Excel source will not support live connection. Sources like SQL will support DirectQuery. Could you elaborate on your requirement and current implementation?
