The OData connector failed with the following error: record

Hello

I have created my Power BI reports connecting Dynamics 365 Business Central dataset. It has been an year and everything was going smooth. Since 12th February 2021, I am getting error in my data refresh. The error I am getting in Power BI Service is "The OData connector failed with the following error: record".

I tried to refresh individual tables in dataset in Power BI desktop for same file and I could refresh some of them but few of them I am getting same error. Sometimes I also get the error message "Dynamics365BusinessCentral: Request failed: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error."

If anyone can help me with the same.

Thanks

Mayank

Hi Gareth

You may try now, it seems the problem has been resolved by Microsoft. My data refresh has been successfull today both in Desktop and Services.

Hi Mayank

Unfortunately I am still getting the same error on 10+ reports.

I am hoping that maybe the "fix" is delayed coming to our data server(s).

Regards

Gareth

Hi Mayank

I am also experiencing this error, and from the 14th Feb onwards.  It is a big problem for us as we need a solution urgently.

If anyone can assist please.

Thanks

Gareth
