I have a simple PowerBI report which I created via a List by going to Integrate > PowerBI > Visualise List.
I am able to edit this list, however when I go into Teams and add a new PowerBI tab no matter how I copy and paste the report URL I keep getting the error: That URL didn't work. Try again
I am guessing I may just be copying the wrong part of the URL (I've tried copying everything, and also different parts) so is there a specific part I need to copy? I also cannot use the Browse workspace option since this report isn't in my workspaces.

Hi @PowerAutomater ,
As @rajendraongole1 mentioned By default, "Visualize this List" Power BI reports are tied to the SharePoint list but aren't published to any workspace.By default it is not published, manually we have to publish and save it in the particular workspace.
Thank you for reaching out to us on the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

Hi @v-menakakota , as mentioned previously I am unfortunately not able to save the report to the workspace in my version of PowerBi service and as such cannot complete the steps provided. Based on this it would appear that isn't currently a solution available that resolves this issue
Hi @PowerAutomater ,
As you mentioned that you don't have access to PowerBI desktop but only the online version.share that list to the service
Once after sharing the list that report is not saved in any of the workspaces. We need to save the report to workspace .
Then open the report and copy the URL you can share your URL from the teams. Before sharing the URL you need to check the permissions with the user to whom you are sending to ,you need to add user(Viewer,Member,Admin,Contributor).

Thank you for those detailed steps @v-menakakota .
I have gone to FIle > Save:
However when I go to my workspace there is unfortunately still nothing there:
Is there another step I need to do to have the report show up in My Workspace?
Hi @PowerAutomater ,
I have tried for multiple times the reports are getting saved in my particular workspace(2561) but I don’t understand why it is not getting displayed for you .
Hi @v-menakakota could the issue be because the report is tied to a sharepoint list and therefore doesn't exist in a workspace like rajendraongole1 mentioned below?
Hi @PowerAutomater
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community forum

Hi @PowerAutomater -
By default, "Visualize this List" Power BI reports are tied to the SharePoint list but aren't published to any workspace. You can export the report to Power BI Desktop, save it as a .pbix file, and publish it to your preferred Power BI workspace. This will generate a valid Power BI URL that can be used in Teams.
To publish:
Export the report by selecting the File menu and choosing Export.
Open the exported file in Power BI Desktop.
Publish it to a workspace in the Power BI service.
Verify the URL:
The correct URL for Power BI reports in Teams should typically look like:
bash
Copy code
https://app.powerbi.com/groups/<workspace_id>/reports/<report_id>
Ensure you're not copying the SharePoint list's visualization URL or a partial link.
Use the SharePoint Integration Directly:
If you want to avoid publishing the report to a workspace, you can instead embed the SharePoint list directly into Teams:
Add a new tab in Teams.
Choose the SharePoint tab option.
Paste the URL of your SharePoint list where the visualization is created.
Users can view the list and use the "Visualize this List" feature directly from SharePoint within Teams.
Check Permissions:
Ensure the report is shared with the required users and that permissions aren't restricting access. If the report is private or users don't have access to the SharePoint list, the URL won't work.

Hi @rajendraongole1 , I unfortunately cannot see an option to export I only have 2 save options:
I also don't have access to PowerBI desktop but only the online version.
I have tried your sharepoint solution and copied the URL until the part "spListURL" but I am still getting the same error unfortunately. Not sure what else to try at this point.
