Support native web browsers from Smart TVs

The company I work for needs to showcase their goals and accomplishments on a variety of LG and Samsung smart TVs spread across multiple areas and departments. This worked naturally until 11/11/2019, after that date it was no longer possible to login to Power BI through the browsers of these TVs. I did several tests and the only way I could was using an Android system through the Firefox browser.

I need to be able to login to Power BI on TVs without having to use other equipment as it was before. Please start supporting WebOs and Tyzen system browsers.

Hi @Brazilian ,

Based on my reserach, the native web browsers of smart TVs are not included in Supported browsers for Power BI, Have you tried other ways to see this report such as embed in security web? What error message you got when you sign in Service in Native Web Browser?

Best regards,

It's been 1 month since I can't use TVs to show power bi in the company, people are suggesting to use other systems like Grafana.
Your suggestion to use embed in security web also failed because the need to login, and the error happens there. But I managed to make it appear using the Publish to web function that does not ask for login, I was able to access the reports again on TV for now, the Dashboards were not possible because it does not have the Publish to Web function unfortunately.

But it is a restart. One last breath of power bi in my company before license cancellation if it doesn't work again soon.

I am having the same issue like @Brazilian

Tried to embed it but got the same error: "Could not connect. try again later"

Hi @v-lid-msft ,

I had not tried in other ways.

The error is "Could not connect you at this time. Please try again later."
