Does Microsoft Fabric natively support direct integration with GitHub?
Does Microsoft Fabric natively support direct integration with GitHub for deployment pipelines in the same way that Power BI deployment pipelines support integration with Azure DevOps?
Do you mean in terms of pipelines in Azure DevOps or Microsoft Fabric deployment pipelines.
If you mean for Microsoft Fabric Git integration, you can use my post below as a reference point:

If you mean Microsoft Fabric Deployment Pipelines then absolutely. For example, you can reuse the logic in the below post and change the code to work with GitHub Actions instead:

Hi. Today the Repository integrations of workspaces are for both Azure DevOps and Github. If you check docs you'll see you can pick devops or github at the docs. For example,
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fabric/cicd/git-integration/intro-to-git-integration?tabs=github
I hope that helps,

Hi Mahesh0016 ,
Great question! Microsoft Fabric is evolving fast, and integration with source control systems like GitHub is getting more attention. Here’s a quick summary based on the latest capabilities and the helpful answers above:
Direct GitHub Integration:
Microsoft Fabric now supports native integration with both Azure DevOps and GitHub for workspace versioning and deployment pipelines. When you go to the Repository integrations in your Fabric workspace settings, you’ll see options for connecting to either Azure DevOps or GitHub. This means you can manage your Fabric items (like datasets, dataflows, etc.) directly in a GitHub repo, track changes, and collaborate through standard Git workflows.Deployment Pipelines:
Similar to Power BI, Fabric deployment pipelines can be set up to work with GitHub Actions. You may need to tweak some pipeline logic, but the fundamental integration is there. There are detailed guides and community articles (like the ones shared above) that show step-by-step how to link Fabric deployment pipelines with GitHub for CI/CD automation.References and Docs:
You can check out the official Microsoft documentation here for the latest on GitHub integration.
