Streaming Data Set With SSAS

Hi everyone,

I am trying to combine a report with a streaming data set + SSAS.

1. Created Streaming Data Set

2. In Power BI Desktop imported a Streaming Data set and connected(mapped) with field to SSAS Dimension. (After adding SSAS Streaming converts to Direct Query)

3. I input some visualizations and it works correctly.

4. when trying to Publish the report there is the next message:

And in the app, I can't see the Streaming data set visualizations.

Please Help.

Regards,

Maxim

That message likely comes from a third source - some sort of on-premise data source in your dataset.

I tested the combination of a streaming dataset and a SSAS (regular Power BI dataset), and it worked without error.  The big issue here is of course that you lose the whole real time aspect of your streaming dataset.
