Hello community,
I built a report in PowerBI Desktop that visualizes data from my Spark cluster (Azure Databricks).
When I upload the report to PowerBI.com, the data source (spark connector) is apparently not loaded.
I can see the corresponding dataset, which when I go to the dataset settings, I get the following message:
As you might also see, the section "Data Source Credentials" is grayed out, too.
Is the Spark Connector (not HDInsight) not supported on PowerBI.com?
Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
Christopher

Hi @mikelarah ,
If any of you still have the connector problem, you should have a look at this video from Guy in a Cube:

Hi,
I am having the same issue when using the Spark connector to connect to Azure Databricks.
The connector works fine in PBI Desktop, but when publishing to online workspace, it errors with message:
"Publishing succeeded, but the published report can't connect to the data source because we were unable to find a gateway. Please install and configure an enterprise gateway."
When viewing the dataset on PBI online, I see the same error message as @ChristoherMuehl
Please could you advise whether this is a bug with the connector, or whether something is not configured correctly?
Thanks,
Mike
