Hi all, I have a bit of an issue with two slicers and can't figure out what the issue is. One slicer is for customer, and if I select a customer it then shows their project codes in another slicer. I can then just select the project codes I require to drive the charts. However, when I select the customer it doesn't just show the associated project codes, it leaves those showing from the previous customer selected. Any ideas?

Hi @sbott ,
What you are seeing is the default slicer behavior. This video has some options for you:

Many thanks all, the visual level slicer worked using "is not blank" as in the video.
Thank you for the very useful information from djurecicK2.
Hi @sbott ,
As djurecicK2 said, the problem you describe is the default behavior of the slicer. In the sample data I created, since the customer and item tables are filtered in a single cross-filter direction, when you select the customer id again, there will still be the project code for the previous customer. In this case, the slicer retains the last selections unless you manually clear or reset them.
Here's an easy way to do it, by changing from a single cross-filter direction to both cross-filter direction:
Then, this is the behaviour of the slicer you were originally confused about :
When filtering in both cross-filter direction, the final result is as follows: when you select a customer in the Customer slicer, the Project slicer automatically updates to show only the projects associated with that customer. Similarly, when you select a project in the Project slicer, the Customer slicer automatically updates to show only the customers associated with that project:
