Setting Row Level Security on Dataset Created through REST API for embedded Report

I have created a few datasets in a workspace through the REST API. I can user filtering of the reports based on the user and embed token, but what I want to do is use Row Level Security.

The problem is I don't seem to be able to edit the roles + groups associated with these datasets/workspace in PowerBI Desktop (as suggested here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/embedded-row-level-security). The option in the desktop app is disabled.

Is there any way to set Row Level Security on datasets that are created/updated programatically though the REST API?

Based on my research in below link:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/datasets/bindtogateway
There is no api for rls, I am afraid you could not achieve the feature currently.
