Hi Power Bi community
One of my customers wants a notification whenever a specific KPI reach a % for an employee.
My problem is that I cannot send an e-mail outside of my organisation.
I get the error message "one or more of the e-mails is outside of your organisation."
I can think of two possible ways to solve it.
1. Somehow change the admin setting to send e-mails outside of the organisations.
2. Teach the customer to send the notificaitons himself.
My question are
1. Is option 1 possible? And if it is how do I do that?
2. Is it enough for the the customer to have a power Bi pro license or does he need any admin privileges or the likes to do it himself?

Hi. There are some alternatives for this. I like two that can be done with a free Power Automate license.
- When you configure a Power Bi Alert ( the one at dashboard for gauge, kpi or card ), you can see a button to capture the alert with PowerAutomate. Once you are at automate you are free to notify in any way you want: https://blog.ladataweb.com.ar/post/622353040877420544/powerbipowerautomate-programar-aviso-a-tus
- An alternative is checking for a number. You can query the semantic model with API or Power Automate. Create a schedule checking for a condition. Once the number is doing the rule for the kpi you can again send it with automate. Example: https://blog.ladataweb.com.ar/post/746743853368918016/powerbipowerautomate-enviar-notificación-de
Soon there might be a third alternative related with data activator. It's still in preview, so I would check it but not implement it as production flow yet.
I hope that helps,
Happy to help!
