Hi Team,
I am seeing the bellow error when the schedule refresh runs. If I download the pbix file and enter the creds locally, it does refresh and I can then republish. Why does a manual refresh work and not a scheduled refresh? We have a numer of data sources, so how do I tie this error back to which datasource is causing this failure. I've hashed out the server name.
No, no gateway configured. It does refresh sometimes as seen from the refresh history.

And no information in the log?
My View is a bit different, I dont see a download log button and if I click in show it give a timeout message with no indication on the data source responsible.
Do you want to try some of my "caveman" troubleshooting methods?
1. Try refreshing individual tables on Power BI Desktop (not PQ) first to see if all the query runs w/o issue. Right click on table and refresh data.
2. if that works, publish the report to a different workspace and set schedule refresh.
If both 1 and 2 works, the original report in workspace may be corrupted (or some other thing). I dont encounter this often but it has happened before.
Are you using dataflows? direct-query or anything that is not a direct import?
What are your data sources ( SQL, sharepoint) ?
Hi Sedden,
Are you using a gateway? If yes, you can check the connection for every datasource that you use in the model.
