Scheduled Refresh Error

Hi I am getting the below error while doing scheduled refresh.

Tried the below methods but none proved to be effective -

  1. Updated the gateway
  2. Restarted the on-premise gateway server

Need support as this is causing a lot of issue very frequently.

Hi @Anonymous ,

That appears to be a timeout from your Gateway to your datasource.

I'd like to suggest you increase the CommandTimeout and the ConnectionTimeout parameters to two hours to see if it works. The default value for ComandTimeout is ten minutes and the default value for ConnectionTimeout is driver-dependent. You may go to Power Query to modify them.

You may try the following code in advanced editor to set CommandTimeout and ConnectionTimeout.

Hi @Anonymous

It's a timeout error and it seems like multiple datasets are being refreshed at the same time.

Please schedule it for some other time and check.

Made sure that there is gap of 1 hour between the different dataset refreshes. Then also it is happening.
