Hi All,
I am hoping that someone can help me. On Monday, my scheduled refresh for all reports that have SQL Server OLAP cube located on an on-premise server are now not working and I receive this error:
{"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError","pbi.error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError","parameters":{},"details":[{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorCode","detail":{"type":1,"value":"-2147467259"}},{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorMessage","detail":{"type":1,"value":"AnalysisServices: The following system error occurred: The encryption type requested is not supported by the KDC. "}},{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingHResult","detail":{"type":1,"value":"-2147467259"}},{"code":"Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.DataSourceKind","detail":{"type":1,"value":"AnalysisServices"}},{"code":"Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.DataSourcePath","detail":{"type":1,"value":"ipmsql1: 49230;Deltek Vision Analysis - Vision"}},{"code":"Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.Reason","detail":{"type":1,"value":"DataSource.Error"}}],"exceptionCulprit":1}}} Table: Project OLAP Cube.
What is strange is that all the reports that have scheduled refreshes connected to the same on premise service but using SQL tables is working just fine. When I refresh the data in my Power BI desktop for the OLAP cubes, I do not have any issues. However, when I publish the report and schedule a refresh or refresh now, I get this error. Anyone have any idea on how to fix?
Thanks,
Ethel
Hi @egonzalez
Was it normal to refresh before today?
I noticed that there is a {"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError","pbi.error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError","parameters":{},"details": in your error report. I found a post with a similar error, and the solution mentioned there is to restart the server. I hope it can help you.
Solved: DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError - Microsoft Fabric Community
Fabric customers with tenants in the Central US region may experience issues interacting with the service, which is currently available in read-only mode. If your region is in Central US, this may be the cause. Please wait for a fix to see if the issue persists.

Hi Yulia,
Yes, the refresh worked just fine for the past 6 months until Monday, July 15 when the error popped up. We have re-started the server and this did not solve our problem.
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Ethel
Hi @egonzalez
It looks like you are using a gateway. What is your gateway version? Currently, Microsoft actively supports only the last six releases of the on-premises data gateway. You can try updating the gateway to the latest version and see if the issue persists.
