Schedule Refresh

I am facing issue in power bi service..

It is showing "You can't schedule refresh for this semantic model because the following data sources currently don't support refresh : Data source for Query1".

but actually this report don't contain unsupported source because I use only 1 source if i share this file to my friend and if he publish it is working fine. Happening to me only.

Hi @PPA

Make sure you have the necessary permissions to schedule a refresh. Even if the data source is supported, incorrect permissions can cause this error. You need to be a Power BI Pro license holder and have edit permissions on the dataset to schedule a refresh.

If your data source is on-premises or requires a gateway, ensure that the gateway is correctly configured and you are using it. Check if your Power BI report is assigned to the correct gateway and if the gateway is online and functioning properly. If you are using a personal gateway, there might be some limitations. Try using an on-premises data gateway (which is meant for organizational use) if possible.

If you shared the file with your friend and it worked for him, there might be a difference in the version of the report. Try to update your report to the latest version by downloading it from the service, making sure it's saved, and then republishing it.

Clear your browser's cache and cookies. Sometimes browser-related issues can cause problems with Power BI Service.

In Power BI Desktop, try to remove and rebind the data source to see if that resolves the issue.

This happens due to cache issue
Would sugegst to go to rdit query window and look if you have Query 1 there then delete it
Also look under data source settings -> Data Sources in current file and delete any connection that is not being used
