Salesforce did a Spring 2022 release. As part of this they disabled API versions 25 and older (which we think was from ages back before we ever even started Pbi).
One of our salesforce tables (Opportunity) has stopped connecting and will not refresh (Error: The column 'IsPrivate' of the table wasn't found – we have no such column). If we edit the dataflow, the data all shows but anything connecting to that dataflow says it is an empty table. If we connect to salesforce opportunities direct into a new dataset (not via the dataflow) it works fine. But we can see something here when we do this:
In the data flow (that is being troublesome) we connect as:
let
Source = Salesforce.Data()
Opportunity1 = Source{[Name="Opportunity"]}[Data]
In a new connection direct into a dataset it connects as follows now:
let
Source = Salesforce.Data("https://login.salesforce.com/", [ApiVersion=48]),
Opportunity1 = Source{[Name="Opportunity"]}[Data]
So back to the dataflow and change the connection to include that extension and it works. But we have only had to do this on the Opportunity table – all other tables are coming through fine with no extension.
Just posting this in case it helps anyone else.
