SSAS Multidimensional Security Role Not Working on PowerBI server (on-perm) Reports

We are seeking your assistance in populating filtered data from SSAS Multidimensional cube on the Reports, which are deployed on PowerBI Report Server (on-prem).

Currently, when Power BI Connect with SSAS Via live connect, all the users who have access to the report will the all the data.

To overcome this problem, we implemented the SSAS Multidimensional Security Roles. SSAS Multidimensional Security Role is working fine with Excel and MS SQL Cube Browser.

Our goal is simple, we want to connect PowerBI Report Server (on-prem) Reports with SSAS Multidimensional Security Role to populate filtered data from the cube on the report.

Or anyone has any other solution for populating filtered data from SSAS Multidimensional cube on the PowerBI Report Server (on-prem) Reports

You need to change the Authentication type to below for SSAS connection

you need to connect with Admin User, then need to impersonate it accordingly.

Same result with Domain\username

Are you able to log in with this user to SSAS using Management Studio?

Also check if any Group Policy is avoiding you to store the Password for the user.
