Report is showing "Empty"

Hi,

I was hoping you could help me with an issue I am experiencing.

I have pulished a report from my desktop to the service, and it all looks good in the first couple of hours or so after publishing.

When I check on the report the next day, all the values and numbers are empty. In my desktop there is no problems, and everything looks fine there. I have a daily scheduled refresh in my service at 09:00 AM every day. In addition to this, I get no error messages related to the data or source. The data imported to the desktop is from an API through the Web, and it is not a DirectQuery.

Any input?

Hi @Anonymous

What happens if you click on the Reset to default, does that help?

Hi @Anonymous

Maybe you can try adding this Web API data source to an on-premises data gateway, and map the data source in this dataset to it. Or try the suggestions in the comments of this issue: Web API data source refresh issue

Additionally, here are some blogs that may be helpful to bring about some ideas:

Hi,

That did not work. It still gives me an empty output across the whole report. Everything is fine and looks good right up until after the scheduled refresh. It is as if the scheduled refresh "wipes" out all the data. I have tried changing values in the desktop version (for instance from BOOLEAN to Text), then re-publishing, etc., but nothing is working. I am actually completely blank on what to do here.

Any suggestions?
