Refreshing Excel Workbook in Power BI Service

I have taken the following steps and am getting an error whenever I try and refresh a Workbook in the service using Excel online.  If fact, I cannot do any type of filtering or anyting.  The only fix...

Hi there

Currently it is not possible to refresh an Excel Workbook that is connected to a Power BI Dataset.

I will vote for that, so what is the purpose of the Workbook section then?

    Hi there

     

    It is for you to host Excel Workbooks within the Power BI Service.
