Refreshing Data

Is there way to setup a refresh schedule of a semantic model but only have one data source refresh?  I have 3 data sources but only one needing a refresh daily.

@DPCCGF Yes, right click the queries that do not need to be refresh and uncheck Include in refresh (Power Query Editor). Managing query refresh - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Hi Greg, so do I need that datasource in the Gateway even though it will never be used in the service?  Basically I have three datasources - one I have to manually update via the desktop as there is no method via the service.  And then two other data sources that are present in the Gateway.  So these two sources need to be updated via the gateway as data is updated and then joined to the "static" data that I update manually.  When I publish the model it still is asking for a data source connection to the static datasource even though I have that setting you mentioned set.

Hi @DPCCGF ,

You still need to configure credentials for it. enable load has the capability that some tables will not participate in the refresh schedule.
