Refresh failure in Dataset created with Web content

Hello,

I am establishing a connection with Web & fetching data via API.

I have performed the mentioned steps by you. Refresh is working fine in Power BI Desktop , but post publishing to Power BI service refresh fails & gives the same error

(Scheduled refresh is disabled because at least one data source is missing credentials. To start the refresh again, go to this dataset's settings page and enter credentials for all data sources. Then reactivate scheduled refresh.)

I believe in this scenerio we don't need to add it to gateway as it's a cloud Data source

Please suggest further steps to resolve the issue

Hi @Anonymous ,

Would you please check settings of dataset if you have configured credential for the data source? Would you please show us more details about m query in advanced editor in power bi desktop.

In addition, Power BI Service requires https urls for Web data sources to refresh. For non-secured urls (http), it's required to go through the gateway. By design.
