Datamart creates a default dataset
DM is on scheduled refresh and this is the refresh history
However, there is no option to set up scheduled refresh on this default dataset too.
Is it safe to assume that the default dataset gets refreshed when the DM is refreshed but don't reflect the time?
Thank you in advance
Yep, that's how it works. If you want to have a dataset with its own separate refresh schedule, you'd want to use the datamart's SQL endpoint and create your own dataset. This however wouldn't make much sense unless you wanted to blend other data sources that are not in the datamart.
Thanks @otravers , I not only want to query AZURE Sql db the DM is attached to, but also the SSAS db (default dataset). I have checked and I can comfortably query the SSAS db. I simply need to be sure the SSAS db is fully up-to-date.
DATAMART is a top-notch feature of Power BI.
