Based on my test, if data source only has data from Dynamic 365, after we publish to Power BI Service, no gateway should be needed with OData authentication as below. Do you have any other sources?

The error message says that your personal gateway is offline. Have you installed personal gateway and check the status of it? You can also use on-premises gateway instead.

I get this error message:

"We couldn't refresh because your data gateway (Power BI – personal) is offline. Make sure your computer is on and the gateway is up and running."

Have you tried to publish the report from the power bi desktop.

and then In power bi services ->go to Data sets and refreash the dataset

The data source is from MS Dynamics

I am refreshing for the cloud version
