RLS role with filter restricted access

Hi Team,

I have a report with many subteams. Managers shouldn't see eachothers result, but they should see their own and those above in the reporting line. (Each manager should see company overall result, parent division result and own result.)
How can I solve this with RLS?

Hi @karpandi ,

It cannot be achieved through rls. The purpose of RLS is to limit users to only see the data that they have permission to see. Your requirement goes against it.

I also recommend you create an idea for it  in https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas to improve the power bi.

Thank you for your reply. I was successful with setting up RLS with Organizational Hierarchy.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any solution for getting access to an overall result of the compnay or parent division without the possiblity of filtering (to other teams). Is there a solution for that?
