I have a RLS semantic model with 4 restricted tables and applied RLS published to a workspace. I need a new semantic model with 2 tables coming from the RLS semantic model and the rest coming from a mirrored database all tables in directquery mode. When trying testing in desktop, manage roles and view as roles are grayed out. I tested the RLS with a user and everything works fine, it seems like RLS is not passes from Parent semantic modle to child. With the child semantic model a test users gets this error:

Hi @Melikag
Yes, that is correct because rail level security cannot be passed between two different semantic models. You will have to build the same role of security in the 2nd semantic model.
