RLS Help

Hi, I am in need of some guidance on RLS. I have 4 tables - Billing Lawyer, Responsible Lawyer, Accounts and Sales. How can I set up RLS in a report that has two different "views" - Billing Lawyer and Responsible Lawyer, when an employee can be both Billing and Responsible. When viewing as Billing, they should see all sales where they are Billing Lawyer, and when viewing as Responsible, they would see all sales where they are Responsible. I tried to apply security to both lawyer tables but the problem is both security rules are applied at the same time, meaning they can only see sales where they are BOTH Billing and Responsible. I need it so that if they are viewing as Billing, then only the rule from that table would apply, and if they are viewing as Responsible then only the rule from the Responsible table would apply, not both at the same time. Thanks!

Hello

The simpler solution would be to have two fact for billing and responsible lawyers. The model and tables would look something like below.

Thanks for your help. I did have that as a solution but the thing is I actually have lots more fact tables and some of them are quite large, so was hoping to avoid duplicating them all if possible, especially as I would have to duplicate hundreds of measures too. Thanks

I am afraid with the existing model this cannot be done. RLS in billing and responsible both should be true in order to show some data, thus the problem.
