Publishing with Amazon Redshift in DirectQuery mode

Hi,

I am using the beta Redshift connection in PBI Desktop.  If I use DirectQuery mode, the Publish button is grayed out.  In Import mode, I can publish to PBI Service (can't refresh but that is another story).  

Is this just a limitation of the beta version?  Will I be able to publish with DirectQuery once the full version is released?

Hi @mchoka,

Yes, support for this connector is only available in Power BI Desktop currently, not in Power BI Gateway or PowerBI.com for refresh scenarios, which will come in the next couple of months.
