I was trying to publish a report when i came across the error ' Unable to write data to the transport connection: An exsisting connection was forcibly closed by the remote host'. Initially I had thought this was something wrong with the report, but have come to find that this error occurs on every report I try to publish. I have tried reports with small data, different worksapces and so on but nothing works.

Hi @wc123 ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
@GilbertQ , Thanks for your prompt response
In addition to @GilbertQ suggestion, could you please try the troubleshooting steps below and let us know the outcome?
start by checking your internet connection unstable or slow networks often cause this issue, so try switching to a different network like your office Wi-Fi. If that doesn’t help, disable any VPNs, firewalls, or proxies temporarily, as they might be interfering with the connection. Make sure your report isn’t too large or complex, and if it is, try simplifying the data model or removing unnecessary columns. Also, test publishing to a different workspace to rule out workspace-specific issues. If you're using Intune or any recent security policies, they might be blocking the connection,

Ok but nothing has changed in my wifi at home and it used to work fine up untill 9/19. There was a powerbi update on 9/19 so maybe that had something to do with it. I cannot publish anything even the simpliest of reports to any worksapce out of any directory on my computer (downloads, one drive, etc.)

Hi @wc123
I have seen this happen in the past when it comes down to an Internet connection that is not stable. So when the process is being uploaded something stops causing it to fail. Could you potentially try upload your report from another network and see if that solves your issue
Yeah today I was in the office on our network and it uploaded perfectly fine, I have not changed anything with my wifi at home and it always used to work up untill 3 days ago. Are there any solutions here?
