Publishing Dashboard to Sharepoint

Hi,

I have created and published a Dashboard to Sharepoint via a Shared Workspace. All users viewing the Dashboard have PowerBI Pro licences however when they first try and view the Dashboard via Sharepoint they are presented with an error message stating there is a problem with the Dashboard.

If user then logs into http://app.powerbi.com and accesses the Dashboard via the Shared Workspace they are able to view it.

Then when they view it through SharePoint it works perfectly.

Does anyone know if I am missing a step somewhere or is this by design?

Thanks.

Hi. It doesn't work at first but then it works, does it? I think I remember having a similar issue. The thing is that a new user in power bi (a user that was assigned to power bi pro license recently) must login at least one time on Power Bi Service in order to get all those external services that Power Bi provides like sharepoint, teams, alerts, etc.

Hope this helps,

I'm sorry. I think that's the way it works now. You can open an issue in the following link:

You may have more luck there

Regards

Hi, that is exactly the issue. After they have opened the dashboard in the PowerBI portal they are then able to view it on SharePoint, but not before.
