HI,
I am hoping someone can help.
I am using a SharePoint Online list as my data source. I have connected it to Power BI desktop, created and then published a report to a shared workspace in the Power BI service.
I have set up schedule refresh to update the dataset (8 times a day as I am a Pro user). I notice that after the schedule refresh, that the report visuals (from the report) inside the workspace update with the latest data.
However, the App that I have published does not (update with the latest data) and I have to manually refresh the visuals using the “Refresh Visuals” option.
Can anyone explain to me why this is happening and how to resolve the issue?
P.S I have waited hours for the App visuals to refresh automatically as I know there can be a bit of a delay.
Thanks,
Boycie92
Check to make sure you don't have query cache turned on in the refresh policy. If it's on it will keep your last information unless you manually hit refresh.

Hi @Anonymous , I don't have Power BI Premuim or Embedded.
Thanks,
Hi @Boycie92 ,
If browser refresh/ “Refresh Visuals”/Interactive can updated the visuals, it should be a cache issue.
When we view the app, the app may not show the latest data of the dataset. But after we refresh the browser link/ “Refresh Visuals”/Interactive, the app shows the latest data of the dataset.
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Winniz
