I am struggling to figure out why, after publishong a Power BI Desktop pbix fiel to the Power BI Service, and then when viewing the same reports, I am getting different computations on my measures.
In Desktop, I have cleared the cache of the file, saved, and then published the report and do not receive any errors when publishing. I can also refresh that file in the service with no errors.
Example here is the Hours, FTE's and Dollars worked.
In the Power BI Desktop report, I see this information which is correct.
Now, that same report/view online in the Service with the same filter settings after publishing (with no errors) shows this:
I've compared the data model's in Desktop and online, and the models also appear identical. Would anyone know what would possibly be causing this?

Well,
I do think it was sort of casche issue. I ended up just completely deleting the file off of the power bi service and republishing a new file. After that, they agreed.

Hi,
I would suggest in power bi service in your report click the below visual on the top right of the screen.
Essential just checking if any filters or slicers are being applied ( and returning it to default ) as I believed this is cached and saved on power bi service.
Kind regards,
Reuben
