Problems with Personal Gateway

Good afternoon friends! I am trying to teach myself Power BI and have had great success UNTIL I had to install a personal gateway. It appears that I have the latest version (June 2019 release 2), and the installation says that my gateway is all set up. I sign in and get the message "The gateway is online and ready to be used". However, when I publish my report from Power BI Desktop and try to open it in Power BI, it tells me "there is no gateway to access the data source Oracle". If I go into Settings/Datasets and highlight the one I am using, my gateway does not show up under "Gateway connection" (and basically, go to Manage Gateways and set one up). I'm at a loss, so anything that anyone can tell me would be a great help!
