Hello all,
I have a report where I use 2 databases:
1) A list from Sharepoint
2) An Excel file from my computer
I'm trying to update the dataset via app.powerbi.com, but I'm encountering the following error:
Any idea on how to solve this?
Another question, is there any good practice regarding this excel file on the computer? I use it to create support tables (eg, group categories from the main database). I don't know if it's better to keep it on my computer, or put it in the cloud (or something). What is better to do?
Best Regards

Hi @Anonymous ,
First of all, we suggest you to delete the Share Point URL and excel location information in your screenshot.
If you do not want to configure the gateway for this local excel file or the computer can not run all the time when the dataset refresh, put it into a safe cloud place (such as SharePoint or OneDrive for Business) will be a better choice.
Please also refer to this document How the privacy defined on data source affect the merge/append for different tables as Gilbertq has said : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-privacy-levels
