Hi,
We would like to be able to create and manage subscriptions to normal and paginated reports as admins of our workspaces BUT would like users to be unable to create subscriptions.
The admin option for enabling and disabling user subscription creation is not quite what it appears to be. It does prevent creation of subscriptions but it also turns off all subscriptions which might have been created prior to disabling.
Seeing as it doesn't have a 'Except for specific security groups' option, we are left with an all or nothing switch.
Has anyone worked around this? or suggested the idea that we might like to create and manage subscriptions without allowing users to subscribe themselves?
Hopefully the reason for the need is clear. Preventing many users from controlling how frequently they hit databases with their own subscriptions..but still being able to have people subscribed.
